<html><br><br><br><font color=#990000 size="+2"><b>Knowledge Base: QuiltOS Environment</b></font></html>

This knowledgebase covers recurring issues on Windows platforms. There are no product differences between various windows installations or versions so it is not expected that differences in behavior should occur between Windows Server or Workstation versions. Microsoft Surface enabled devices likewise should continue to function the same way as standard desktop systems.

===Documentation Redirects to Login Page===

This occurs when the Quilt Application is loaded into the Broser using the Hashtag URL extension such as ''http://myhost/system/#''. In this scenatio the inner I-Frame of the application cannot properly resolve the starting URL and you will lkley see something like ''////system/doc'' displayed in the path at the bottom left. This occurs because the inner I-Frame cannot properly parse the redirect URL. The temporary solution (until we get rid of I-Frame implementation for Dpcumentation site is to get rid of the hashtag at the end of the inital URL. For example ''http://myhost/system''.
